Almost a year ago we ran one of our longest trail runs, “The Newborough Forest 2011 Commonwealth Trail“, so after fueling with porridge we made our way (the whole 10 minutes) to the main car park to have another go at it. After visiting Newborough, Anglesey, a couple of months ago we’d been hoping our fitness ‘played ball’ for our summer visit to the island and, as we arrived once more at the main car park for Newborough Beach we couldn’t help but feel a little excited.
