As I was just about to go to Anglesey for a break it was great to be asked to review the Craghoppers Mens Classic Kiwi Walking Hiking Trousers. Although I have some of my own (I have a lot of them) Outdoor Look supplied a new black pair for me to try which was handy as my current ones are getting a bit big since I’ve started running.
Sometimes it’s hard to review ‘free’ things that we’re sent as bloggers but this time it was easy. The Craghopper Kiwi’s are without doubt the best utility / everyday pants I have ever owned. I wear them on a day to day basis; at work where they can be worn as smart casual, hiking over the lancashire moorland or sea fishing the North Wales coast these pants can handle it all and have never let me down.
Made from stain resistant, quick drying and sun-protective Polyester cotton the fit is great with a part elasticated waist and belt included. With 9 pockets of which 5 have zip fastening and one a large cargo pocket big enough to hold an O/S map and a mobile phone (there’s a section inside for the phone) there is enough storage to keep even the most gadget laden person happy. Finish them of with a double seat (handy for resting on those rocky ledges while fishing), double knee and heel heel tape means these pants will last for many seasons no matter what you are doing or where you are doing it.
I was supplied a pair of 32″ regular length Craghoppers Mens Classic Kiwi Walking Hiking Trousers for review from Outdoor Look.
